October is Investor Education Month. In support of the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) and their ongoing investor education and fraud prevention initiatives for investors, we would like to encourage you to visit their website, www.securities-administrators.ca.
In addition to their existing brochures and online tools for investors, you will also find a new interactive money mentoring program, Make It Count, designed for parents and teachers to use for teaching kids about money management. The latest results of the CSA Investor Index will also be posted with results from their national research conducted to better understand Canadians’ knowledge about investments and experience with fraudulent attempts.
